Alcon Research, Ltd. announced plans to build a second plant in Cabell County and add 350 jobs within the next 10-15 years. The 74,000 sf building, $25 million investment, will be located on 20 acres in the new HADCO Business Park on Rte 2 at Greenbottom. The Swiss-owned company manufactures intraocular lenses used in cataract surgery.
