Rubberlite was founded in 1986 by company President Allen Mayo as a manufacturer of converted cellular rubber and plastics. Through new applications, unique formulations and custom conversions, it has developed into an innovator in polyurethane foam manufacturing, and is an industry leader in its variety of foam densities and thicknesses. Rubberlite’s product line includes production of HyPUR-cel®, a custom engineered polyurethane foam, and Visco-cel®, a high-quality polyurethane foam. Rubberlite products are sold around the world for applications from footwear and lingerie, to automobiles and space shuttles. Rubberlite occupies 250,000 square feet of manufacturing, converting and warehouse space, and completed its most recent expansion in 2001.
